yipeee!

i won my first blog contest/drawing! it's a really good one...lookee here what i won! i've been doing the happy dance for the past few minutes! yes, call me a baking geek i love me some good measuring spoons, cup-a-cake holder, cutting board, and who wouldn't want more sprinkles for cupcakes! yipeee!!! these items are going to be coming even handier b/c i've been getting commissioned to bake! :)

hi.

wow, it has been a long time since i have actually written on this blog or my poorly ignored silly penguins! can you believe it? it has been more than a month since we've been married? i thought time was flying fast pre-marriage but now, oh boy! it's hard just to grab onto one day.

what i have been up to since becoming a wife...
-trying new recipes that i make-up on the spot
-trying my new MOCHI recipe book i got in maui :D
-figuring out what to do with my career
-beginning the job search and need to complete my resume
-thesis, yes...getting there...but not presently working on it because of the above
-re-vamping silly penguins! and pursuing other creative interests
-making our cozy apt. into a home!
-trying to not become addicted to FB x_x

most importantly...
-praying for direction from God and finding what is our passion so we can serve together!

btw: we are grateful for all those who came to our wedding especially those who came from out of town, old friends, and, family--we haven't seen for several years! we are truly blessed by all of you!

the final stretch!!!

it's almost here, i can't believe it!!! in just two days drew's parents will be here and his sister+family the day after!

my feelings? excitement! haven't had the "fear" feeling, am i supposed to? i can't wait till it's over to enter a new chapter of life!

please pray for health (i kinda feel a bit of a cold coming on and my cold sore ain't going away), less stress (i am NOT answering any phone calls from extended family. sorry, i can't handle it.), and we can finish everything (slideshow, OOT welcome kits, seating charts, & centerpieces).

i also can't wait to see my nieces & nephew! :)

ps. did anyone have waaaay crazy dreams as their wedd. date approached? i had a terrible one last night. it had to do with nazi's finding me and pointing a red laser at my back causing excruciating searing pain. i prayed really hard for Jesus to take the pain away and imagined how hard it was for Jesus when he was crucified. i woke-up having the side of my back in the same pain i was feeling in the dream! :( yeah, i have some pretty crazy dreams!

today =

too many bad mishaps...computer problems, soup spilling between the stove & counter, people lying, tripping & rolling my ankle, stepping in water crap, bad photo that got printed (wasted 1 hr at costco), more very late rsvp's :(, forgot to buy something at target, mom pushing me to find a job, lost our centerpiece labels...and the day ain't over yet...

i guess i will wait till next week to dye my hair, i have a feeling more whites are going to be rolling in.
